Welcome to the website of Gloucestershire Health and Community Wellbeing Partnership (GHCWP).

The Partnership is in transition at the moment. It was decided at the July Executive Group meeting that the Board and Executive Group would no longer meet. This decision was made to allow Shadow Health and Wellbeing Board development work to take place before the inaugural meeting of the new Board on 8th December 2011. Agendas and papers from past Board and Executive Group meetings have been placed in the archive section. The Implementation Group is still meeting to moniter work on the JSCP Annual Action Cards for 2011/12 and details of their meetings can be found here.

Health and Wellbeing Boards are a key element of the reforms captured in the Health and Social Care Bill 2011 currently going through Parliament. Gloucestershire's Health and Wellbeing Board had its inaugural meeting on 8th December 2011 and will sit in Shadow form until April 2013. Further details can be found here

GHCWP is a signatory to the Gloucestershire Compact, an agreement between a range of Gloucestershire's public sector agencies and the local voluntary and community sector. Details of the Compact can be found here
